Korea Transport Institute-MOLIT Holds 'Aviation Safety Grand Debate'
On March 21, the Aviation Safety Grand Debate, hosted by the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) was held. Hosted by the MOLIT and sponsored by Korea Airports Corporation and Incheon International Airport Corporation, the event was attended, by Minister Park Sang-woo of the MOLIT, Kim Young-chan, President of the Korea Transport Institute,Chairman of the Aviation Safety Innovation Committee Chae Yeon-seok, and other key figures including Joo Jong-wan, Director of MOLIT, Kim Young-gook, Aviation Policy Officer, Yoo Kyung-soo, Aviation Safety Policy Officer, and Kim Hong-rak, Airport Policy Officer. “The Aviation Safety Innovation Plan should not only develop new systems, but also ensure that current safety measures are working well,” said Kim Young-chan, President of the Korea Transport Institute, at the event, adding, ”The KOTI will actively support the preparation of the Aviation Safety Innovation Plan in April.”
