KOTI held National Transportation and Logistics Policy Forum
On July 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM, KOTI hosted a policy forum titled “Voices for the New Government: National Transportation and Logistics Policy Forum” at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul. The forum focused on transportation policies that support national happiness and economic growth. Park Kyung-ah, Vice President of KOTI and general organizer of the event, emphasized the urgency of emphasized the urgency of developing concrete policies to secure future growth engines and lead mobility technologies, especially given the new administration’s commitment to fostering emerging industries such as artificial intelligence. In her keynote speech, Vice President Park provided an analysis of the new administration’s policy direction and key transportation issues, along with strategic recommendations. Thematic presentations included “AI-Driven Future Mobility, Data-Connected Mobility” by Kim Tae-hyung, Director of the Mobility Convergence Technology Division; “Transport SOC for Improving Quality of Life and Balanced Regional Development” by Lee Ho, Director of the Railway Transport Research Division; “Transport and Logistics Services Driving Inclusive Economic Growth” by Min Yeon-joo, Director of the Logistics Research Division; and “Transportation Safety Policy for Protecting Lives” by Woo Seong-guk, Head of the Transport Safety and Disaster Prevention Team.
