The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea will host the 2026 APEC Smart Mobility Forum in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in October 2026. Building on the success of the inaugural Forum in 2025, this year’s event will bring together senior officials, industry leaders, and academic experts from the 21 APEC member economies to advance the APEC Smart Mobility Recommendations and strengthen regional cooperation.

Guided by ten core values, including integration, connectivity, innovation, prosperity, people-centeredness, and resilience, the Forum will highlight smart mobility as a key priority within APEC and explore solutions to traffic congestion, environmental sustainability, and road safety.

· Strategic Alignment : The Forum will be organized in conjunction with the ITS World Congress 2026 (October 19-23, Gangneung) to maximize participation and foster synergies between technology and policy discussions.
